Lantiseptic® Therapeutic
Cream is a soft emollient cream, which is intended to compliment
the usefulness of Lantiseptic® Skin Protectant. Like the Skin
Protectant, it protects the skin, promotes the healing of
skin injuries, and is a superior first aid treatment. It
is especially effective on skin that is prone to shearing or tearing.
This fine quality cream contains an unusually high 35% lanolin,
which with beeswax, encourages the proper moisture balance of the
skin, and in turn the natural healing processes of the body
- Skin Breakdown-Softer that its companion product,
Lantiseptic® Skin Protectant the Therapeutic Cream is especially gentle
to skin that is on the verge of breakdown. For example,
in the case of denuded skin, which calls for the gentlest treatment,
Lantiseptic® Therapeutic Cream provides it. It is an excellent
moisture barrier against fecal and urinary incontinence
and a superior hand cream for frequently washed hands.
- Dry, Cracked, Delicate Skin-These conditions are
ubiquitous in elderly populations- the natural result of the aging
process of the skin. While diet and nutrition are essential factors
in the care of patients, the soft and gentle emollient action of
Lantiseptic® Cream can be a great help in bringing these developing
conditions to a safe, rapid, and satisfactory resolution. A special
case is the skin and feet of diabetic patients where
patients where the Therapeutic Cream has proven to be useful.
